ive noticed. a few days ago i was watching this kids movie and it had all sorts of words and suggestive language in it. i hope it changes but what are we going to do? oh yeah and theyre putting in crude and physical humor that shows people getting hurt and kids are learning to laugh at that kind of thing. its wrong and i dont think kids should watch it. on the other hand there are shows specifically for adults which i think are hilarious but kids would not fully understand and it wouldnt be apropriate for them. people should try and protect their kids from what they can for as long as it is apropriate. i can see modern TV from a mothers point of view but as a young adult most of it is funny and appeals to me. i do however notice the derogitory view of women and find it disgusting but keep in mind who the show is directed to. there needs to be some changes or at least some new words that are the equivalent for men and what they are calling women. this is all just my views and opinions.
References :
The Increase?...it's always been like that...it just became a bigger issue when Sarah Palin was announced as John McCain's Vice President Running Mate...and the media went after her like Sharks to a Bloody Corpse...Women are still considered Minorities in the Eyes of Men (Some Men) hell women were alongside other minorities in 1920 when finally give the right to vote...in America
References :
I think it has a lot to do with the women of our time. There are still some white doves out there, but let's be honest, the majority of women nowadays have no respect for themselves; they parade themselves around like a piece of you-know-what.

I do agree that the media should lighten their language a bit, but it also has to do with how younger mothers are raising their children, more liberally. All of a sudden it has become okay for kids to watch wrestling and shows like family guy.

So the answer is this:

Society sees nothing wrong with it...they accept it even, therefore the media isn't afraid of airing it.
